Contracts

A Contract is an agreement which legally binds parties in just about every aspect of life. It is an agreement made by two or more parties, but must meet several requirements to be enforceable by a court of law. In New York, a contract is binding if there are several criteria. First there is an offer and the acceptance of that offer, consideration must be paid and consideration may be monetary or a promise to provide something of value. There also has to be intent to be bound and mutual assent to the agreement by all parties capable of entering into the contract.

Our firm’s approach to drafting contracts is simple; we strive to accurately understand your purpose and strive for precision in drafting the contract necessary to express and convey the agreement of the parties, addressing issues of compliance and enforcement. We seek to forestall any difficulties.
